Ducting access doors allow easy inspection of circular duct. Our curved doors are easy and fast to install and provide easy access to fire and volume control dampers.
- Access doors are a required item when fire and volume control dampers are built into ventilation systems.
- Designed to provide rapid access to smoke, fire and volume control dampers or other equipment mounted inside circular spiral ductwork.
- Access doors to suit circular spiral ducting with an easy fit / removable design that “sandwiches” between circular spiral ducting.
- Creates an airtight seal at duct inspection points.
Key Features
- Double skinned construction.
- Manufactured from 0.8mm galvanised mild steel (as standard).
- Individually pressed to suit duct diameter.
- 6mm closed cell polyethylene gasket on the inner panel allowing the door to be sealed to the duct internally.
- Thermo plastic, tri-star threaded (m10) hand wheels, tightened onto press fitted internal fully threaded (m10) set bolts. (Zinc plated mild steel).
- Stainless steel springs fitted between the inner and outer panel.
- Set bolt ends are pressed to which stops the access door being completely disassembled.
- Optional -rubber edging strip (cut to size) for the duct hole rough edges, reducing the risk of personal injury when the access door is removed for duct cleaning and maintenance purposes.
