Mechanical Air Supplies LTD has a full range of Spiral ducting & fittings in stock and are manufactured in accordance with DW144 specifications.
All of our ducting is female which allows fittings such as bends, reducers, attenuators etc to slip into the duct.
Ducting Connector – Which one Should I use?
There are two types of ducting connectors (or couplers) used with spiral pipe and fittings, A male Connector and a Female Connector
Spiral to Spiral Connection
In order to join two lengths of spiral tube together, a male coupler would be required.
Fitting to Fitting Connection
Should your installation require two fittings to be connected together a female coupler would be required as all of our spiral fittings are male.
Spiral Duct Sizes
Standard sizes ( in diameter) available for Spiral Ducting are:-
80mm, 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 160mm, 180mm, 200mm, 224mm, 250mm, 300mm, 315mm, 355mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm, 560mm, 600mm, 630mm, 710mm, 800mm, 900mm & 1000mm
As a manufacturer of spiral HVAC ducting we hold a large stock of the standard sizes upto 710mm, diameters from 800mm – 1000mm are normally manufactured upon request, but we can guarantee fast lead times
Our spiral pipe is sold in 1.5m (only certain sizes) & 3m lengths.

Spiral Duct Fittings
Full range of duct fittings in galvanised steel are available. Our three branches hold a large stock and can be collected or delivered to site.
What duct fittings are available?
Bends (elbows) for Spiral Ductwork, Concentric Reducers, Curved Boots, Pressed & Fabricated Saddles, Flat Shoes, Equal Tee pieces, Y Pieces, Birds Beaks, End Caps (mesh & shallow), Roof Cowls, Split Rings & Silencers (Attenuators)
Rectangular Ductwork also available.
We can also manufacture rectangular duct work, please note given the variation of sizes that are required on most projects, our rectangular duct work is manufactured upon request.
We do stock a range of rectangular / square fire dampers and volume control dampers.
